For over five years, DBA Africa has been a dedicated partner in the Kenyan athletic journey. What began as an exploration of elite systems in Iten and grassroots engagement through our weekly 5KM "Great Leveller" community runs has evolved into a high-impact vehicle for talent transformation: The Athletics Race Fund (ARF).

As we enter the second quarter of 2026, our focus shifts to the competitive road racing season, headlined by the prestigious Eldoret City Marathon.

A Proven Track Record of Impact

In 2025, leveraging the Kevin McCool Memorial Fund, we successfully sponsored a cohort of 10 promising athletes. The results spoke for themselves:

• Gender-Inclusive Representation: A diverse team of male and female runners gained critical elite-level experience.
• Performance Excellence: Our standout performer, Sarah Jerop, secured 28th place in a highly competitive field of over 200 elite athletes.
• Consistent Development: Earlier this year, Daniel Kibiwott demonstrated the grit of our program at the Iten Mountain Trail, finishing with a strong time of 3:06:47.

These athletes have the discipline and the talent; they simply require the platform.
